Director Edward Bass admitted in the same interview that the character of Belle Gunness is the most complicated character he ever dealt with. She was actually the first female serial killer in the history of America. It was estimated that she notoriously killed more than 40 people whose bodies were found rotten in several secret places in her farm. There were also some dead bodies that were unearthed in her hog pen. Meanwhile, it was found out that included to her poor victims were her two husbands, who were sadistically tortured to death in separate occasions. Much worse, is the fact that she even molested and eventually killed her own children to eliminate any witness on her heinous crimes.

According to some reports, her main motivation for doing such devilish acts is to collect her victim’s cash, valuables, and insurance plans. It was thought that she used her alluring body curves and charm to captivate the heart of many men in her farm, who eventually fell into her deadly traps. As seen on the terribly damaged flesh of her victims, she probably aggressively raped them first and viciously beaten them until they die. Some of her victims were also found out to have missing heads or any other body parts. Until now, nobody knows the truth behind her sudden disappearance in 1908. Thus, many people are now eager to know how Edward Bass will feature the possibilities for her mysterious ending.

On the other hand, Edward Bass has not yet released the official list of cast for this much-awaited movie. It was recently determined that Angelina Jolie is the most probable actress will choose to portray the very challenging character of Belle. There also circulating speculations that the movie might be shot at La Porte, Indiana, which is somewhere near Belle Gunness’ farm.
